The ESTOPPEL letter is a legal document. This document should come from the title company to us, the HOA, to request HOA standing for a property to be bought/sold. We, the HOA, state if the property is under lien for violations, if the property is up to date with dues, and any violations outstanding. We, the HOA, also have to state the projected dues going forward.

Estoppel letters will be filled out upon request. Contact us at hourglasslakeestates@gmail.com for more information and help creating an ESTOPPEL.

Our community of 54 single-family homes surrounds Hourglass Estates Lake in the southern part of Venice, FL.

This is an all-ages deed-restricted community. Most of the homes were built in the 1980s and 1990s with an open Florida-style layout. Many have pools, and some have small fenced areas for pets. You can find information about our community, (including shopping, beaches and schools), here.

Secluded and quiet yet convenient, our neighborhood is perfectly situated. As a circle road, Hourglass Drive has limited traffic, yet is just a few blocks from shopping and major thoroughfares such as Jacaranda Blvd., Florida Routes 776 and 41, the Tamiami Trail.

We are a friendly, beautiful, established community with single-family homes for residents of all ages. The deed restrictions maintain the beauty and serenity of our  community. You can view our bylaws and covenants under “What is required and expected of residents” from above.

We live about a 3.5-mile drive from Manasota Key Beach, and about 6.5 miles’ drive from Venice Beach, the shark’s tooth capital of the world.

Many of the homes in this community have their own swimming pools. The circle road is ideal for riding bicycles and walking with or without dogs.

WildLife

Cottontails, grey squirrels and ibises populate our lawns. At any body of water, little blue herons wade beside great egrets. Red-shouldered hawks patrol the skies. Gopher tortoises burrow in our parks, coyotes run across our golf courses and sandhill cranes strut through our parking lots like they own the place.

Close to Shopping

Even though Hourglass Lake Estates is like a sanctuary, we are conveniently located near shopping. We are 6 miles from historic Venice Island and Venice Beach.
